🏂 2026/27 season

We want everyone to be able to find information and book a snowboard lesson on learn2ride-oberhof.de, whatever their age, disability or device. This statement describes how far we have come.

Legal framework

Learn2Ride is a microenterprise as defined by the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG): fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet total of no more than €2 million. The BFSG requirements do not apply to services provided by microenterprises (section 3(3) BFSG). We publish this statement voluntarily and still follow the requirements of WCAG 2.1, level AA.

What we already do

  • Pages are structured with headings, navigation landmarks and labels so screen readers can read them well.
  • A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard users jump past the menu.
  • All controls can be reached by keyboard and show a visible focus outline.
  • Meaningful images have alternative text; purely decorative images are skipped by screen readers.
  • If you have “reduce motion” enabled in your operating system, you will see no motion effects and no snowfall.
  • The site adapts to screen sizes and zoom up to 200%.
  • All content is available in German and English.

Known limitations

  • Some older blog posts and images do not yet have complete alternative text.
  • We have only limited control over embedded third-party content (e.g. maps, reviews, payment providers).
  • PDF documents such as vouchers and invoices are not fully accessible. On request we are happy to send the content in another format.

Found a barrier? Let us know

If something makes the site hard to use or you need help booking, get in touch. We will reply as quickly as we can and are happy to book your lesson for you by phone or email.
